We only sell Genuine Febco Manufacture Repair Parts for the Pressure Vacuum Breaker size 1" and 1 1/4".

Don't Buy after market or knock off repair parts, You will void any protections from the manufacture and assume all liability from a backflow contamination incident.

These are Common Replacement Parts in a Freeze Event or if the Air Inlet fails a Backflow Test or Inspection!

See Picture of suggested tool to help get the Bonnet off of the PVB with out Breaking It.

To Make the Repair close the number 1 Shut off Valve on the vertical pipe, then close the number 2 shut off valve on the horizontal pipe, then open up the test cocks with a flat head screw driver this will drain the water out of the chamber and release pressure off of the cap to make it easier to unscrew.  Unscrew the cap carefully, and take out all broken pieces.  You may need to flush out the assembly by carefully and slowly opening the first shut off valve to flow water through the chamber.  Thread in your new part.  Close your test cocks and open the shut off valves

Call a Backflow Testing Professional to inspect the repair.

FYI, We are also contractors in the Local Houston Area.  If you need help with the repair or replacement of the complete backflow here are our prices to make that happen.

We repair 1" pressure vacuum breakers and include an inspection report for $150.00.

If a repair is not possible and a replacement is required we will replace the backflow preventer and inspect it for $300.00.

We understand the most economical way is to do the repair your self.  Keep in mind that the backflow preventer still needs to be inspected by a licensed backflow prevention assembly tester.  If not inspected, you have an expensive piece of pipe.

Good Luck with your  project.
